Principal's Message
As we approach the end of the year, I want to take a moment to share an important update and celebration from our school community. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Julie Morice and Coral Crossin for their incredible contributions to East Devonport Primary School. Both will be transferring to new roles next year, and while we will miss them dearly, we wish them every success in their future endeavours.
Our Grade Five and Six students recently participated in camp, where they enjoyed three days of adventure, teamwork, and fun. This experience was a wonderful way to celebrate their final years of primary school and build lasting memories. A huge thank you to the staff who supported this event and to the parents for their assistance - it was a fantastic success because of your efforts.
We are also proud to share that five of our students represented East Devonport Primary School in Launceston at a chess event. This was a fantastic opportunity for them to showcase their skills and enjoy healthy competition. Chess continues to grow in popularity among our students, and we look forward to expanding this program further.
Attendance remains a key focus for us. Every day at school matters, and we appreciate the efforts families make to ensure students are here, ready to learn. If your child is absent, please remember to notify the office promptly so we can keep our records up to date.
Thank you for your ongoing support as we work together to provide the best opportunities for our students.
